Dagannoth Kings & Wilderness Dungeon Reworks | Double XP Weekend | Invention Fix
Two rework projects arrive in game this week – enjoy more profitable battles with the awesome-looking Dagannoth Kings and then rifle through three revitalised Wildy dungeons.

Dagannoth Rework – fresh graphics & improved drops
Requirements
RuneScape members only. Good combat gear and skills are recommended.
A fantastic graphical rework of the Dagannoth Kings and their dank and watery home at the bottom of Waterbirth Island has arrived in game. Based on a concept by Legend Arts, this revitalisation of the Fremennik favourites is bound to spook up your game as we enter autumn – be sure to pay it a visit.
Better still, Dagannoth Kings Prime, Rex and Supreme each have improved drop tables to make battling these guys more profitable. Also included in these tables are new Teletabs for the Dagannoth Kings – these are also tradeable.
Wilderness Dungeon Reworks
The team has also been hard at work for this week’s update, revisiting three of the Wilderness’s dungeons and giving them an overhaul. This is the perfect chance for a revisit of Forinthry Dungeon, the Lava Maze and the Deep Wilderness Dungeon.
Double XP Weekend
Just a quick reminder that from 12:00 UTC on Friday 23rd September to 12:00 UTC on 26th September, RuneScape will be in a Double XP Weekend.
In short this means x2 XP for RuneScape members and +20% XP for free players. Invention is also included in the boosts for a first time.

Change for Invention – stars, lamps & the XP curve
From today, a change has been made to the way that both XP and Bonus XP are given to the Invention skill by items like the stars and lamps from Treasure Hunter.
Lamps and stars have been somewhat underpowered as regards Invention, due to the fact that Invention XP has a different kind of XP curve to other skills in the game.
Now, the Invention XP curve will be used by these items instead. This should fix balance issues involving the use of lamps & stars with this skill.
Additionally, Lamps and Stars that previously scaled the reward with your level in a chosen skill are affected. If we’ve missed any, let us know and we’ll take a look on a lamp by lamp basis!
