Starting point	Speak to Drezel under the Paterdomus Temple
Difficulty / Length	Novice / 20+ minutes
Description	After saving the holy man Drezel, he's seeking some assistance again. This time he has a special request for any adventurous sorts to search for the Druid 'Filliman Tarlock' and brave the terrors that infest the swamp of Mort Myre.
Quest / Skill requirements	Completion of Priest in Peril Completion of The Restless Ghost Level 18 Crafting; used to create a Silver sickle.
Items required	Silver sickle (or a Silver bar with Sickle mould for using with a Furnace to make Silver sickle) Ghostspeak Amulet
Efficiency items	Weapon Full Prayer points 2-3 Stamina potions Lumberyard teleport
Dangerous	3x Ghasts (level 30) to kill

 

1. Teleport to the Lumberyard or Varrock Square, walk east and then climb down the Trap door.

 

2. Follow the corridors until you meet Drezel. Speak to him and he will give you 3x Meat pies and 3 Applies pies to give to Filliman Tarlock. Exit the temple to the south of Drezel.

3. Head directly south and then south-east to open the gate.

4. Walk west and then south parallel to the stream until you read a bridge surrounded by foliage. Jump across the broken bridge to the north-east.

Note: if you fail the jump you can lose up to 7 hit points.

 

5. Try to enter the Grotto and Filliman Tarlock will appear. Ensure your Amulet of Ghostspeak is wielded to speak to him.

6. Talk to him about how he is a ghost. He won't believe you. Pick up the Mirror from the ground and use it on him.

7. He realises he is a ghost so ask how you can help him. He asks you to help him become a Nature spirit.

8. Head back to Drezel with the Small sheet of papyrus and he will bless you.

 

Make the Silver Sickle

Now you are blessed, go to a furnace with a Silver bar and a Sickle mould and make a Silver sickle. Alternatively buy a Silver sickle from the Grand Exchange.

Now return to Mortyania swamp and stand next to a Rotting log. Now right-click the Druidic spell and select Cast to cast the Bloom spell. 

Pick the Fungi from the log.

 

Return to Filliman Tarlock

Use the Mushroom you just obtained on the brown stone to the west, located in front of the Grotto.

Use the Used spell item on the grey stone to the east.

Now try to enter the Grotto which will Summon Filliman Tarlock. Stand on the orange stone and tell him that you have solved the puzzle. He will cast a spell and tell you to enter the Grotto.

Once inside search the Grotto and Filliman will transform into a Nature spirit.

He will ask you to bring him a Silver sickle so that he can bless it. Speak to him again and he will bless the Silver sickle you have.

He will ask you to kill 3x Ghasts and provide you a Druid pouch used for collecting fruit.

Exit the Grotto and perform the following:-

• With the Silver sickle wielded, right-click it and use Bloom next to any bushes, twigs or logs to retrieve fruit.

• Harvest at least 3 fruit and select the Fill option on the Druid pouch to fill it with the fruit.

• Continue doing this until 3x Ghasts appear which you will need to kill.

 

Now go back into the Grotto and select Search on the Grotto. 

The Nature spirit now appears. Tell him that you have killed the Ghasts and he will transform the Grotto into a holy sanctuary.
