Starting Point:

Speak to Trufitus located in the eastern area of Tai Bwo Wannai Village, in his hut.

Starting Out:

Head to the Tai Bwo Wannai Village, located in the southern area of Karamja and speak to Trufitus in his hut to begin the quest. Ask Trufitus where all the villagers are. He will mention that his people are afraid to return to the village and are attempting to contact the gods. He will also mention a special potion that he needs to make in order to commune with the gods. Trufitus mentions that he needs to collect special herbs from deep within the jungle in order to make the potion and will ask if you are up for the task. Accept the request and Trufitus will give you a clue for the first herb that you will need to collect.

Snake Weed:

The first herb Trufitus will ask for is Snake Weed, this herb is located southwest of the Tai Bwo Wannai Village. Search the green and yellow marshy jungle weed plant that you find here to obtain a Grimy herb. After obtaining the herb, clean it to obtain Snake Weed then return to Trufitus.

Ardrigal:

Trufitus will now give another clue for the second herb he asks for. This herb is located northeast of Tai Bwo Wannai Village on a peninsula with palm trees. Lower levels may want to be careful of the Harpie Bug Swarms (level 63) in this area as they may be aggressive while you attempt to obtain the herb. Do not attempt to attack them, unless you have a Lit Bug Lantern and level 33 slayer. Search the palm trees to obtain a Grimy herb, clean it to obtain Ardrigal and return to Trufitus for another clue.

Sito Foil:

Your next herb that you will receive a clue for is Sito Foil, there are two spots to obtain this herb due to an update which Jagex has added which is more safer for lower levels.

Safe Method: Within the circular enclosure of the village, look for a small patch of scorched earth in the middle of the village. Search it to obtain a Grimy herb, clean it then return to Trufitus.

Risky Method: This spot is located directly behind the village. Search the scorched earth near the two fires you see here to obtain a Grimy herb. If you are a lower level, be careful of Broodoo victims that may spawn nearby for players that are participating in the Tai Bwo Wannai minigame. Once you have the Grimy herb, clean it then return to Trufitus for the next clue.

Volencia Moss:

After Trufitus gives your next clue for finding Volencia Moss, head east of the village until you find a mining area. Search the grey rocks in the mining area to obtain a Grimy herb. Clean the herb to obtain some Volencia Moss then return to Trufitus for the last clue.

Rogues Purse:

Trufitus will give you a clue now for the last herb he needs for the potion. After receiving the clue head northeast where you found the Ardrigal herb earlier, but this time head west of the palm trees along the shoreline until you find a cave entrance. The entrance will be marked with a "!" sign on the minimap.

After you find the cave entrance, climb down it and run southeast until you find some fungus covered walls. They will appear as a red line along the dungeon walls on your minimap. While you are searching, be careful of aggressive Jorges that may attack you while you are in the dungeon. Lower levels may wish to bring food for healing, although you do not need to kill the Jorges. Once you have searched the fungus covered wall, you will obtain a Grimy herb. Clean the herb to obtain some Rogues Purse then return to Trufitus in his hut.

Trufitus will show gratitude for your help, which will complete the quest.
