Can be used to gain experience in the Firemaking skill. Requires having 60 Firemaking and will grant 202.5 experience when burned per log. These logs are commonly used by players looking to train the Fletching skill. 67 Fletching experience is given per log Fletched into a Yew shortbow (requires 65 Fletching) and 75 experience for each log Fletched into a Yew longbow (requires 70 Fletching). Fletching Yew stocks will grant 50 experience to the Fletching skill, this requires having a level of 69 in the Fletching skill. Yew logs may be crafted into pyre logs, which are used in the Shades of Mort'on minigame. These logs are required in the Balloon transport system, to unlock the Castle wars route. 10 Yew logs is required to unlock the route, 1 log per trip is required after that. |

Each log cut will grant 175 experience in the Woodcutting skill. Using the full Lumberjack outfit will grant 179.5 experience per log cut in the Woodcutting skill. |
