The Iron halberd is an effective slash attack weapon, capable of attacking a player over two squares due to its large length, making it a useful safe-spot weapon.

Halberd's cannot be made with the Smithing skill. 

To obtain one you must purchase one from the Quartermaster's store which can only be reached if you have begun the Regicide Quest and providing you can proceed through the dense forest.
