Red dragons are a fairly strong monster which can deal high damage to players that are unprepared to fight them. Bringing anti-fire protection such as a Anti-dragon shield or Antifire potions are strongly recommended as they can greatly minimize damage taken by the dragonfire breath.
It is possible to safe spot Red dragons to kill them using range or magic to attack them. Due to them being located within the Brimhaven dungeon, they often are not killed as much compared to other dragons due to the time it takes to reach them.
