This herb can be used with a Vial of water to produce a Valerian potion (unf). This is one of the items required to produce one the following potions:

• Weak ranged potion (requires level 5 Herblore)
• Weak melee potion (requires level 7 Herblore)
• Weak artisan's potion (requires level 27 Herblore)
• Weak survivalist's potion (requires level 33 herblore)
