We're delighted to announce Season 1 of The Official Old School RuneScape Podcast! Hosted by Mod Ayiza and Mod Sween, you can look forward to 10 episodes featuring Mod Kieren, Mod Elena, Alan Walker, SoloMission, Mod North, Mod Rice, Guzu, B0aty, Torvesta & Skill Specs, and Mod Ash! Now, you may be asking "why a podcast?", well...

A long, long time ago, when the Old School team was much smaller, there were weekly livestreams hosted in the studio. Remember Mod Archie and the sofa of a small roster of J-Mods? You were able to get a good feel for who the J-Mods were and what made them tick. We've got very fond memories of these times, but naturally we do prefer having a much larger team that can undertake bigger projects, and a team that's empowered to work fully remotely.

Last year, during our GameJam, we recorded two pilot episodes with Mods Arcane and Kieren. We set out to see if we could recreate any of this magic from yesteryear. We were really pleased with your response to the episodes, the viewership was good and the comments were positive, so we decided to make a nice little studio and line up some amazing guests. Which brings us to now!

The first episode will be published on November 9th, and we'll be publishing an episode weekly until we run out. It's worth calling out that these have already been recorded and time can make a fool of us all. For example, Guzu's Hardcore Ironman still has a very red helm at the time of recording. We hope you can look past these temporal torments and enjoy the episodes.

We do need your help, however!

Firstly, please give them a watch and a listen and tell us what you think. We intend to use the feedback we gather from the first season to shape what the future of the podcast could look like.

Secondly, please check out The Official OSRS Podcast on the below platforms and follow/subscribe/turn notifications on etc. Discoverability has gotten much worse in a world increasingly led by algorithms, and the more support we get from you in these early stages the better the chances of our podcast reaching interested eyes and ears.
