We’re thrilled to announce a very special collaboration with Alan Walker, renowned DJ, Music Producer and (nearly maxed) Old School player!

Our collaboration with Alan has been months in the making. It all began when we received a message from Alan himself containing his own take on a RuneScape song, after his iconic Sea Shanty 2 Tomorrowland performance. The team loved the ideas he sent over, so we invited him over to our studio to help bring two new tracks to life with the Jagex Audio team: Scape Sail and A Sailor’s Dream.

You’ll be able to enjoy these new tracks in-game and on the seas with the launch of Sailing on November 19th. So, make sure you’re playing with your in-game music turned all the way up! Scape Sail plays on the log-in screen whilst A Sailor's Dream will play when you're around the Western Ocean area.

Today, we’re excited to share a remixed version of one ‘Scape Sail’ called ‘Sailing’. It’s important to mention that this is a remixed version of the song, so it’s not the same as the in-game version.

We’re not looking to change Old School’s music style or shift it closer to electronic music, so rest assured that the sounds in-game will fit the OSRS vibe and atmosphere completely. Having said that, we fully expect you to be blasting this out in another tab while you’re on the seas, or we’ll make you walk the plank ourselves.
