Remaining Getting Around Changes
The final round of changes from the Getting Around Poll are here! You can see the batches we've previously released from this here, here, here and here.
Before getting into the remaining changes from the poll, let's kick things off with a tweak for the Perfected Quetzal (i)...
Tweaking How the Perfected Quetzal Whistle Becomes Infinite
To start with, we're giving the Perfected Quetzal Whistle the same functionality as the Corrupted Bow of Faerdhinen. This means you can now work toward unlocking infinite charges gradually, rather than sticking with Hunter Rumours for extended periods before getting the most out of your whistle. Starting with this game update, charging any Quetzal Whistle will now contribute to the infinite unlock, counting toward the total requirement of 10,000 teleport charges worth of Hunter meat.
You can check your progress towards the unlock by asking about the Perfected Quetzal (i) to Soar Leader Pitri and giving him some hunter meat.

Once you've reached the total amount of charges required, you'll get an in-game notification informing you that you've unlocked the infinite version of the Perfected Quetzal, which you can get by showing the whistle to Pitri.

Now, let's dive right into the remaining updates from the poll...
River Dougne Canoe Stations

If you can’t see the image above, click here!
To make your travels across Kandarin smoother, we've added a new canoe route along the River Dougne, similar to the one along the River Lum. You'll find 5 new canoe stations added, connecting key locations across Kandarin while keeping the system rooted in its original design:

For consistency, the River Lum canoe station interface has been updated to match that of the River Dougne.

Plus, you can now store and withdraw an axe at any canoe station along both the River Lum and River Dougne. Stored axes are shared across all stations, so once you’ve stored one, you’ll never have to worry about bringing an axe to use canoes again. You'll also find that you don't need to withdraw the axe to use it - just interact with the tree and you're good to go!

Note that existing canoe types and level requirements also apply to the River Dougne canoe stations.
Faster Agility Shortcuts
We feel that some Agility shortcuts can do with a bit of trimming to really feel like shortcuts. For this reason, we've made the following changes:
We've made these changes the below shortcuts:
No more awkward pauses and unnecessary clicks at certain shortcuts, making them feel more worthwhile once you've unlocked them.
Fairy Ring Favourites
Previously, even if you've favourited destinations on a Fairy ring, you had to go through the Configure option first. With this change, we've removed a few unnecessary clicks and reduced the menu navigation for players who know where they’re going.

If you can’t see the image above, click here!
You'll now see a new 'Favourites' right-click option added to Fairy rings, if you have at least one destination marked as favourite. Hovering over this option will display a sub-menu of your favourite destinations, allowing you to teleport immediately with a single click! If you don't see this option at Fairy rings, it just means you haven't saved any favourites yet.
Last Destination option to Spirit Trees
To make Spirit Tree travels more convenient for those who regularly bounce between the same locations, we've added a 'Last Destination' option to them. Right-clicking a Spirit Tree and selecting this option will teleport you straight to the last location you travelled to using any Spirit Tree, without needing to open the full destination menu.

Lunar Return Orb
In a similar vein, we've made a small tweak to the Lunar return orb.
We've added a toggle to the Lunar return orb so you can choose whether it immediately teleports you on left-click. You can access this toggle by using the new right-click 'Ponder' option on the Return orb.

If you can’t see the image above, click here!

You can enable the toggle by choosing the "Yes, and don't ask again" option.

And that's a wrap for the Getting Around Poll changes! Now that all of them have made their way into the game, we hope these changes make your journeys across Gielinor smoother and snappier. More convenience, less clicks!
Boat Combat Tweaks
Following your feedback, we've got further boat combat balancing changes, as we mentioned last week. We'll be closely monitoring how these changes feel in practice, so let us know your thoughts on our usual social channels.
Buff to Cannons Manned by Player
To start with, we've applied a buff to cannonballs and cannons when they are actively manned by a player. Our goal here was to close the gap between cannons and player gear, ensuring that a player using a cannon is on par to the DPS of traditional combat +2 Crew members using cannons.
You can expect max hits like in the below video while you man the Dragon Cannon.
If you can’t see the asset above, click here!
To clarify further, cannons and cannonballs now have new stats applied to them called Heavy Ranged Accuracy and Heavy Ranged Strength. These work as you expect - they add bonuses to your Heavy Ranged combat with cannons, on top of the existing stats. However, crewmates do not benefit from these new stats.
| Cannon | Heavy Accuracy |
| Bronze | 30 |
| Iron | 40 |
| Steel | 60 |
| Mithril | 70 |
| Adamant | 85 |
| Rune | 110 |
| Dragon | 150 |
| Cannonballs | Heavy Strength |
| Bronze | 15 |
| Iron | 30 |
| Steel | 40 |
| Mithril | 50 |
| Granite | 65 |
| Adamant | 80 |
| Rune | 90 |
| Dragon | 100 |
Sea Creature HP
We've also reduced the HP of some sea creatures, especially for those that are smaller and lower-level, so that they are less tanky and their health is more thematically suitable. You can see the reduced Sea Creature HP as follows:
| Sea Creature | New HP | Old HP |
| Tern | 22 | 46 |
| Dolphin | 45 | 74 |
| Eagle Ray | 55 | 74 |
| Sea Mogre | 59 | 87 |
| Osprey | 72 | 114 |
| Frigatebird | 79 | 121 |
| Bull Shark | 81 | 128 |
| Butterfly Ray | 83 | 101 |
| Stingray | 106 | 128 |
| Hammerhead Shark | 125 | 128 |
| Albatross | 135 | 179 |
| Pygmy Kraken | 150 | 177 |
| Narwhal | 187 | 220 |
| Manta Ray | 194 | 225 |
Additional fixes and adjustments:
We’re also aware that boat combat can feel overly intense against some high-level sea creatures, particularly as they’re currently fought in multi-combat areas. To address this, we’re working on introducing single-way combat encounters for the Vampyre Kraken, Armoured Kraken, and Great White Shark. While we don’t have an ETA just yet, we’re aiming to release this change in the coming weeks.
Last Man Standing QoL Tweaks
Last week, we released a series of PvP Quality of Life changes, including for the Last Man Standing minigame. After monitoring your feedback thoroughly, we've made the following tweaks:
| Rank | Updated Points | Old Points |
| 1st | 6 | 5 |
| 2nd | 5 | 4 |
| 3rd & 4th | 4 | 3 |
| 5th to 9th | 3 | 2 |
| Kill Count | Updated Points | Old Points |
| 3 kills | 2 | 1 |
| 5 kills | 3 | 2 |
We've got more upcoming changes we'd like to make but didn't have time to implement this week, including:
In addition, an upcoming tweak for Emir's Arena:
While these changes didn't make it in this week, we're aiming to release them as soon as possible. Appreciate your patience while we work on these changes, and we'll keep you updated.

Organised Chaos: Mass Nex
As part of our Organised Choas event series, we’re kicking things off with a mass Nex over on world 520.

If you can’t see the image above, click here!
Join Community Manager Mod Rach, Mod Lenny (one of the developers behind Nex’s creation), and community creator Muts as we take on Nex together on mass. Expect a relaxed, low-pressure sesh, plenty of players, and the kind of chaos that comes with it.
When?
Where?
We'll start over on world 520, if this world gets full, we'll move over to 521, 522 and so on.
We’ll be live over on twitch.tv/oldschoolrs - but this stream will be less formal and structured than our usual broadcasts - so expect something more relaxed here. You can read more about Organised Chaos and what to expect in our dedicated blog.
We may grab a few questions for Mod Lenny and Muts during the event, so if there’s something you’re curious about, feel free to share it in advance and we’ll see what we can cover.
Let’s just try not to kick off the series by ending Muts’ Grandmaster Hardcore account, please…
