Skills are part of the foundation of RuneScape, guiding every player's growth and experience. They shape the adventures you embark on, the challenges you overcome, and the way you engage with the world of Gielinor. To help keep things fresh and exciting, we're continuing our 110 Skilling journey with Runecrafting!

The art of Runecrafting is evolving and improving. Now, alongside crafting runes at altars and siphoning essence in the Runespan, you will also be able to train by imbuing magical weapons! Other additions include Time Runes for time-altering spells, the largest-ever Expansive Pouch, new utility-based magic, imbued eternal weapons, and the ultimate Masterwork Staff for endgame mages.

• Resolved an issue where Shield Dome could interfere with certain boss mechanics.

Engine

• Added point light volumetric graphical features for Ultra+ preset setting only.
• Fixed an issue with water graphical setting levels on specific Mac devices.
• Fixed an issue where certain particle effects attached to player items would stop rotating with the player's model during special animations.
• Fixed a rendering issue affecting particles on UI models.
• Fixed issues causing particle effects to rotate during animations or jitter on specific devices.
• Fixed a bug causing audio to duplicate when using certain home teleports.
• Fixed an issue that caused flickering for specific animations.
• Improved visuals in situations where multiple layers of transparent geometry overlap.
• Improved performance for water reflection objects.
• Improved performance for OpenGL elements.
• Improved performance for visuals using volumetric point lights or uniform buffers.
• Optimisations to client memory management:
• Improved GPU memory usage when using compressed textures with recent Nvidia and AMD GPUs.
• Improved memory usage in the City of Um.
• Reduced memory usage on lower end devices in busy areas.
