Duck Quest is a new, permanent Free-to-Play adventure that begins with a simple mission to reunite a lost duckling with her family—but quickly turns into a cozy journey to the hidden duck sanctuary of Paddlington, home to a charming community of waddling residents. Duck quest launches on April 14th alongside the Blooming Burrow event but will not disappear once the event is ended!

Gamejam
Duck Quest began life in 2022 as a small idea for a mini-quest, originally created by Mod Echo who wanted to test RuneScript functionality. But after months of enthusiastic chatter, idea-sharing, and GameJam sessions, it quickly grew into a full-blown passion project.
What started as a simple test transformed into a collaborative labour of love across many disciplines. Concept artists brought the world of Paddlington to life, inspiring both the visual direction and quest design. Character artists and animators crafted the adorable duck residents with personality and charm, while environment artists ensured that Paddlington felt like a cozy, vibrant sanctuary worth revisiting. The audio team tied it all together with delightful music and quirky sound effects that give the ducks their unique flair.
We’re incredibly proud of how far this little quest has come—and we’re so excited for you to experience it for yourself when Duck Quest waddles into the game on Monday, April 14!
