Flesh-hatcher Mhekarnahz launches today! - This Week In RuneScape

Hidden in a recently discovered resource dungeon near Daemonheim is Flesh-hatcher Mhekarnahz, a mighty Stalker stranded far from Ocularis.

Unlike our most recently released boss, Amascut, this encounter is designed for an earlier stage in your PvM journey. It introduces common mechanics and serves as an alternative way to train your combat skills. Although this is a solo boss, you can still fight it alongside other players to observe, learn, and study how they tackle the encounter. Don’t worry, only your actions and contributions will count toward defeating the boss and earning your rewards!

Once you have a Dungeoneering skill of 40 you can trek out through the Wilderness to dive in!

Hotfixes

• Advent calendar now only pops up once per day
• Snowball title scroll no longer drops when a player has already unlocked the title
• Specific outfit tokens are now redeemable and no longer give the error that the player already owns the outfit.

Thieving

• Following feedback, the following changes have been made with 120 Thieving content:
• Reduced the size of the hitbox of the Ghost Guards within the Vault of Hereditas heist to fix an issue that prevented players from using bladed dive
• Re-added the vyrelord/lady spawns to the building east of the tree in Darkmeyer and moved the Vyrelord consumers to the north building with the bank chest.
• Following feedback, the following changes have been made to 120 Thieving Heists:
• Added the ability to automatically pass through doors when they are fully unlocked. Note: In instances where it may path you directly into a guard, the door will not auto move the player.
• Added quickchats for each heist completed, alongside a players' quickest completion time
• Added a flavour quickchat which shows 'Let's go to this heist: "heist name"'
• Added in several missing entries from the 'Try thieving from: X' quickchat
• Introduced Cannonballs on the Dragonkin Heist drop table at the slight reduction in Arbuck herb and seeds

Christmas

• The Queen and the King fairy tale no longer includes "whose name was Lumi" and "whose name was Nick", to resolve a contradiction between contemporary Christmas lore and the First Age sundering of Renmark.
• Removed "about four times longer" from the Queen of Snow's dialogue about ice sprites.
• Removed "named Camorra" from the High Priest of Entrana's dialogue about the Ice Queen.

Return to Lumbridge

• A duplicated woman has been removed from Lumbridge market.
• The merchant has been moved to a more appropriate place in Lumbridge market.
• Talking women within Lumbridge market no longer turn to face the player.
• The Fremennik warrior in Al Kharid has now been removed.
• Removed Minigames -> 'Prayer - Nexus' from worldmap key and "I'm going to train Prayer at the Nexus" from Prayer quickchat.
• Corrected the light scattering density of an environment override in Draynor manor's grounds.
• Failing to pickpocket the fairy godfather during A Fairy Tale II no longer has a 1/5 chance to teleport you into a blocked tile in Lumbridge swamp.
• Removed lingering evil tree areas in Lumbridge swamp.
• Getting kicked out of the H.A.M. hideout now teleports you to nearest pre-2013 coordinates west of Lumbridge rather than east of Lumbridge.

General

• Amulet of Fletcher's Offerings and Amulet of Artisan's Offerings no longer lose all charges after one craft
• Fixed an artifact that could appear on dialogue boxes.
• Fixed some drawers wrongly being named as cupboards.
• Corrected the examine text of all blessed and corrupted ability override unlock scrolls.
• Updated the Sunshine tooltip when using Tumeken's armour for improved clarity.

Jagex Launcher

• From 10 December, installing the Jagex Launcher on PC will no longer require admin permissions.
• This should make it easier to install the Launcher on shared or restricted devices, though some systems may still have local restrictions in place.

The Snow Imps have once again hijacked Santa's Grotto and unleashed mayhem by 'imp-proving' it. This year the grotto comes jam packed with new prizes including the new Yulemourne Armour and Greatsword and classics like the Aurora Dye and Blue/Yellow Santa hats!

The Amascut server focuses on providing the community with high quality match making, structured learner support, helping with Amascut related achievements and building a strong, drama free PvM community.
