Treasure Hunter | Attack of the Zombie Sprouts
Meet Lady Niya and Evil Niya south of Draynor Manor and brave the Attack of the Zombie Sprouts – running from 20th October at 00:00 UTC until 24th October at 23:59 UTC.
Play for a short time every day for free as you push towards unlocking two sets of sprout-themed wings, a zombie sprout pet and Farming or Herblore XP.
Use your Treasure Hunter keys to grab magic plant spray that allows you to take part for longer each day, while boosting your progress to those sweet and spooky rewards!
How to take part & rewards
The first thing you’ll notice is the epic battle between two armies of sprouts, each presided over by a super-sized sprout overlord.
Promote the growth of the healthy big sprout to earn Farming XP and contribute towards unlocking the Inflorescent Wings.
Help spread the infectious influence of the big zombie sprout to earn Herblore XP and push towards unlocking the Decaying Wings.
When you have unlocked both sets of wings (which can be accessed from the wardrobe interface) you also unlock the awesome zombie sprout companion pet.
Every 15 minutes, smaller sets of sprouts will appear across the world. Interact with these for even more XP gains.
Fatigue & Treasure Hunter
Each day you can help out your chosen sprout for free, but will accrue fatigue while doing so.
If you max out your fatigue every day you will earn good XP and enough progress to earn one of the two wing sets.
If you wish to play for longer and push for all of the event’s rewards, use your keys to get hold of magic plant spray via Treasure Hunter.
Magic plant spray will speed up your XP earnings when interacting with your chosen sprout while allowing you the opportunity to accrue more reward progress. It can also teleport you to locations where more mini sprouts have sprouted and can be used to check your personal event progress and which sprout army is currently winning.
Have fun wrangling these freakiest of flora, and let us know your feedback over on the forums.
