Requirements

To Start
Head to the Grand Exchange and find an item with a high trade limit, preferably 1-10k or higher. Bolts, runes, food, potions all work well. Pick an item (eg. runite bolt). Then find the profit margin of the item by putting in an order for the item high above the market price. Write down the price you bought this item for. Then sell back the item for far below the market price. Write down the number you sell it for. Subtract the price you sold it for from the price you bought it for and this will be your profit margin.
Flipping
To see how much you will make from the flip, multiply the profit margin by the number of items being flipped.
Runite bolt bought for 215. Sold for 205.
10 gp profit margin. If you flip 1000 of these you will make 10k on the flip.
If you do not like the profit margin then continue onto another item. If you do in fact like the profit margin then you will now start buying the item for the price you sold it for when finding the profit margin. If you want this to move faster you can up the price by a few gp. Once this order is filled and all the items are bought, now sell them for the price you bought them for when finding the profit margin. If this is unclear see the steps below.
Step By Step Flip
The steps below are applicable to any item with a high trade limit.
Buy 1 Runite Bolt for Above market Price. Price bought for=215 (this is the highest people are selling runite bolts)
Sell 1 Runite Bolt for Below market price. Price sold for =205 (this is the lowest people are buying runite bolts)
Buy x number of Runite Bolts for 205. Only way to profit is to flip at least to items.
Sell x number of Runite Bolts back for 215.
If you Flipped 1000 Runite Bolts for this profit margin you would have profited 10000 gp.
