Start Point:

Speak to Redbeard Frank, who can be found southeast of the pub on the Port Sarim docks.

Starting out:

To start off the quest, speak to Redbeard Frank and ask him if he knows anything about treasure. He will offer to tell you about some hidden treasure that he knows of in exchange for some Karamjan Rum. There is only one problem though, Redbeard Frank will mention to you that you will need to find a way to smuggle the rum off Karamja as customs officers will confiscate it due to Asgarnia banning imports of the rum.

Obtaining the Rum:

Next, head a little south until you see some Sailors on the dock. Speak to one of the Sailors and ask them to take you to Karamja for 30 coins. Once you arrive, head west until you come across the local pub and purchase a Karamjan Rum from Zambo the bartender for 30 coins.

Creating a Plan:

Now, head northeast from the pub until you find Luthas in a small hut. Speak with him to learn that he is the owner of the banana plantation nearby. During your conversation, mention the customs officer to him and you will learn that Luthas knows the officer well enough to the point out that his crates do not get searched. Ask him if he will give you employment at his banana plantation. After he will hire you and ask you to pick some bananas and pack them into the crate nearby him.

Smuggling the Rum:

Exit the hut and head west into the banana plantation. Once you are here, pick 10 bananas from the trees and put them into the crate. Use the "fill crate" option to add all of the bananas together at once, then use your Karamjan Rum on the crate to hide it among the bananas inside. Return to Luthas and inform him that the crate is filled. He will pay you 30 coins for gathering the bananas. Speak to Luthas again and ask him where he ships the bananas to and he will inform you that a  food shop owner in Port Sarim named Wydin buys them from him. Speak to the customs officer and pay them 30 coins to sail back to Karamja. If you use any teleport methods to leave Karamja, the bottle of rum will break.

Retrieving the Rum:

Now, put on your White apron if you already have it with you and enter the food shop. If you do not have a White apron with you, head north of the food shop into the Port Sarim fishing shop and get one from the wall. Speak to Wydin and ask him if you can have a job in his store, he will hire you. Head into the back of the shop and search the crates until you find your bottle of rum.

Head back to Redbeard Frank once you have the rum with you and he will tell you more information about the treasure.

Finding the Treasure:

After hearing Redbeard Frank's story, he will hand you a key to a chest located in the Blue Moon Inn. Teleport to Varrock using the Varrock square teleport spell (requires 25 mage) and run south into the Inn or by using the Varrock lodestone teleport method if you have it activated and follow the path north into the Inn. Climb up the stairs then head into the room with the chest inside it and open the chest to obtain a note that says:

"Visit the city of the White Knights, in the park Saradomin points to the X which marks the spot."

Head to Falador using either the Falador square teleport method (requires level 37 mage) or the Falador lodestone teleport method and head east into the Falador park. Be sure to bring a spade with you; you can obtain one from the spawn inside the Estate Agent's office if you forgot to bring one with you. Head inside the Falador park and look on your minimap for finding the location to dig. Head to the location and stand on the spot and click on your spade in your inventory to dig with it. While digging a level 4 Gardener will appear and attack you. You can either kill the Gardener or ignore him while digging. You will find a casket, open it to obtain the treasure which will complete the quest.
